The Flintridge Prep community again turned out in large numbers to support this inspiring event. Prep students, parents, trustees, alumni, past parents, faculty, and staff all participated as runners, worked as volunteers, or enthusiastically cheered the runners as spectators.

Members of Prep’s newly installed Athletic Council On Leadership (“ACL”) were on hand to run in the race and help organize Flintridge Prep volunteers.
The boys and girls cross country teams, football team, and Student Senate also contributed, either running or manning the water stations.

Junior Dot Silverman ‘10, one of Prep’s top distance runners, repeated her 2007 performance by finishing first in her division.
Along with Mitch Lehman of the San Marino Tribune, Alex Blecksmith ’97 spoke during the awards ceremony thanking everyone for their continued support of the J.P. Blecksmith Leadership Foundation.
