ALICE IN WONDERLAND AUDITIONS
This year Zach Myers and Veija Kusama-Morris are putting on their adaptation of Alice in Wonderland for their independent study project. Auditions are February 7 - 10 at 2:30 in Room 50. Audition materials will be in Miller!
THE AMNESTY COFFEEHOUSE is tonight! Doors open at 7 pm for art viewing and food from our celebrity chefs. The show starts at 7:30 and includes your favorite musicians, dancers and poets. Tickets are $5 presale (during lunch) and $7 at the door. All proceeds go to provide microloans to people in developing countries.
KEY CLUB ELECTIONS
Students and Key Clubbers. If you are looking to get involved in Prep's very own Key Club, now is your chance! Elections will be held within the next month, but a write-up of who you are and why you're running is due to Lawrence Yu today. You must be a paid member to run, but it isn't too late to pay your dues.
BOOK DRIVE
Benjamin Su is hosting a book drive! All donations will go to McKinley School in Pasadena. Please donate any type of book to the lower Library over the next two weeks.
SOCCER DRIVE
Do you have old soccer stuff? Katharine Pinney is hosting a collection of all things soccer to be sent to an orphanage in Kenya. Please place donations in the box by the seventh grade lockers or in the gym.
NECESSITIES DRIVE
For her community impact project, Sharon Chow is doing a necessities donation drive for Acencia/Path Achieve. This organization aims to end homelessness one person at a time. If you have common household necessities to spare, please bring them to the box in the lower Library.
STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
Have you ever wanted to try yoga? Mrs. Mattei will be teaching a Vinyasa-style yoga class every Monday from 3-3:45pm in the dance room starting this Monday. We will work on breathing, strengthening and increasing flexibility. Beginners are welcome! (Bring a yoga mat if you have one.)
