Step 1: Inquiry Form

Inquire online by completing our inquiry form

Thank you for your interest in Flintridge Prep. The application deadline for the 2024-2025 school year has passed, and we are no longer accepting inquiries or applications for fall 2024. The steps below are for information only as you prepare for the upcoming application process. Our inquiry form for the 2025-2026 school year will be available in April. Step 2: Application

Complete Flintridge Prep's online admissions application in our user-friendly admissions portal.

The application deadline has passed and we are no longer considering new applications for the 2024-2025 school year. The application for the 2025-2026 school year will be available in September.

Step 3: Interview & Campus Visit

While Flintridge Prep’s application deadline is January 10, 2024, we encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible so you can book your family's visit to Flintridge Prep. These visits, which will begin in October, include a student-led campus tour, conversation with Flintridge Prep faculty and administrators, and time for the applicant to write a short writing sample.

Step 4: Recommendations & Transcripts

Request electronic copies of your RECOMMENDATION FORMS and TRANSCRIPTS.

Request the applicant's recommendations and transcripts through Flintridge Prep’s online admissions portal. Due by January 19, 2024.

Step 5: Character Skills Snapshot

The Character Skills Snapshot is an online tool that measures student preferences towards seven character skills: intellectual engagement, open-mindedness, initiative, resilience, self-control, social awareness, and teamwork. It takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and applicants take the assessment at home, school, or other comfortable environment of their choice. Results complement the other information in an applicant’s file.

Students applying to Flintridge Prep are required to take the Character Skills Snapshot and submit results once you have received the report (they are not sent to us automatically).

You can register for the snapshot through Flintridge Prep’s online admissions portal once you submit the application. The assessment fee is $60, which can be waived by contacting the Admissions Office. The deadline to take the snapshot and submit the results is January 19, 2024.

Step 6: Financial Assistance Application

Flintridge Prep awards financial assistance based on a family’s calculated financial need in amounts ranging from 10% to 100% of tuition and school costs. There are no merit or talent-based awards. If the cost of a Flintridge Prep education feels out of reach based on your family’s financial circumstances, we believe applying for financial assistance is worth exploring. NOTE ON STANDARDIZED TESTING:

Flintridge Prep is not reviewing standardized test results (e.g., ISEE or SSAT) as part of the application process for students interested in applying for the 2024-2025 school year.
