How Fathers Club Supports Prep

The Fathers Club coordinates parent volunteers and encourages a sense of friendship as well as participation in the following ways:

ACADEMICALLY

We attend school functions to increase our awareness about what is happening on campus. Each year the Fathers Club awards Pursuit of Excellence plaques to students in grades 8-11 who have been selected by the faculty for their enthusiasm for learning.

SOCIALLY

We attend and/or support school activities for the students and the Prep community at large.

CULTURALLY

We support campus events which recognize the culturally rich and diverse environment we live in.

ATHLETICALLY

We attend Flintridge Prep sports events. We try to enrich the experience by supporting our teams and attending awards ceremonies conducted at the end of each season. The goal is to increase school spirit, pride and promote good sportsmanship by example.

FINANCIALLY

We participate by working with the Board of Trustees, the Faculty and the Administration to identify worthwhile unfunded items or endowments. Monies generated by Fathers Club activities are utilized to meet these needs, as well as annually providing a college scholarship to a worthy graduating senior.
