Student Senate
The Student Senate is the school’s student governing body and includes representatives from both the middle and upper schools. Each upper school class (grades 9 through 12) elect four class officers (president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer), who are the voting members of the Student Senate. The middle school classes (grades 7 and 8) elect a class president and three representatives who rotate the duties of vice president, secretary and treasurer each quarter. In addition to class officers, the entire student body elects the Commissioner General, Assistant Commissioner General and Commissioner of Projects for a term of one year. The Commissioner General serves as the chairman of the Student Senate.
The Student Senate is responsible for all student activities conducted by its own members and regulates all clubs and other student activities on campus. It also sponsors activities and assemblies that must be motivational, inspirational, and /or educational. The Student Senate is dedicated not only to putting on activities for the entire student body, but also to improve the leadership skills of its members.
