Parent Groups

In a 2015 survey of Flintridge Prep parents, 96% said that they were happy with their Prep experience. The survey revealed that 87% of our parents volunteer in some capacity during a given school year.

Whether they participate in our New Parents Reception, flip burgers at our annual Family BBQ, or dedicate their time to their child’s soccer team, parents are making real contributions to the fabric of our school community and making connections to Prep—and to each other—that last well beyond graduation.

Flintridge Prep has all kinds of opportunities, big and small, for parents to be a part of our campus life. In addition to supporting your child’s extracurricular activities, our Parents Association and Fathers Club offer a variety of opportunities to support all Prep students.

Parents Association

The Parents Association supports the Prep community by sponsoring and organizing a variety of events on and off campus. The goal of the Parents Association is to enhance campus life for students and faculty, coordinate parent volunteers and encourage a sense of friendship and participation within the school community. While some commitments to the Parents Association are more involved, we have opportunities to suit every schedule. Membership into our Parents Association is automatic, and membership dues for both the Parents Association and Fathers Club are taken from the annual school enrollment fee.

Fathers Club

The Flintridge Prep Fathers Club is a group of volunteers whose mission is to engage fathers in the Prep community through service and enhance the experience of everyone at Flintridge Prep: students, parents, faculty and alumni. Designed to be a support arm of Flintridge Prep, the duty of the Fathers Club is to sponsor or support events at the request of the faculty and students, as approved by the headmaster.

Prep Community Speaker Series

The Prep Community Speaker Series is designed it to educate, entertain and inform our school community, supporting the school’s goal to encourage life-long learning.
