High School Athletics

The softball team went 3–0 on the week, defeating Chadwick (12–0), Westridge (20–0), and Rio Hondo Prep (17–11).

The boys volleyball team is on a roll, taking down Chadwick in back-to-back games (3-0 and 3-0). The team is now getting ready to face off against Polytechnic on Thursday, April 16, at 3:45 p.m. at home

The baseball team, after tough losses to Oakwood (7–10) and Castaic (0–1), rebounded with a 14–2 win over Rio Hondo Prep. The team holds a 7–8 record and faces Shalhevet at home today at 3:30 p.m.

The boys tennis team defeated Polytechnic (11–7) on Tuesday, clinching another league championship with a 5–1 league record. The team heads to Palos Verdes this Thursday, April 16, for the league finals, competing for a spot representing the Prep League in the CIF playoffs.

The golf team avenged an earlier loss to Crescenta Valley with a 196–217 win at Eaton Canyon Golf Course, then beat EF Academy (212–244). The Wolves face Chadwick on Thursday, April 16, at 3 p.m.

The boys and girls swimming team beat Rosemead and split against Polytechnic (boys W, girls L). Several swimmers competed at the Mt. SAC Spring Champions meet on Saturday, April 11, placing third in the boys division. League Prelims and Finals at Polytechnic are up next.

The boys and girls track and field teams competed in the all-league meet this week and are preparing for League Prelims on Wednesday, April 22, at 2 p.m.
