Middle School Athletics

The Wolves' middle school track & field team started its season with an opener at Chandler last week. Athletes earned ribbons in the Long Jump, 800, 4x200, and 4x400.  It was a great afternoon, highlighting the growth and effort this group is putting in each week.

High School Athletics

The softball team has split their first two games of the year with a solid win over Alhambra HS by a score of 7-4 and then a tough loss to Viewpoint by a score of 4-6. The next game is Wednesday, March 4, at Muir High School, starting at 3:30 p.m.

The boys volleyball teams win streak is going strong, with five straight wins, including Milken, St. Francis, Maranatha, Burbank, and Trinity Classical. The Wolves' next game will be vs La Cañada at Flintridge Prep on Thursday, March 5, starting at 5 p.m.

The baseball team is off to a solid start, even with the rainouts. The team is currently 2-0 with wins over Monrovia 5-2 and Schurr 4-3. The team is starting to gel, and everyone is working hard to start the year off right! The next game will be on Wednesday, March 4, against Newbury Park at 3 p.m.

The boys tennis team is 1-3 to start the year and is playing better as they try to fill the shoes of the 6 graduated seniors from last year's team. They dropped a tough game this week to Temple City, losing 7-11, and will look to bounce back Thursday, March 5, when they play their first league match vs EF Academy at 3:30 p.m.

The golf team is off to a 2-1 start with wins over Milken 212-231 and EF Academy 199-265.  Their lone loss this season is to Crescenta Valley HS, 214-209. The Wolves will take on La Cañada HS on Wednesday, March 4, at the La Cañada Country Club, with the first tee time at 3 p.m.

The boys and girls swimming team opens their season at home against Temple City High School on Wednesday, March 4, at 3:45 p.m.

The boys and girls track and field teams had their first meet on March 3. Most returners ran personal bests, and the Wolves picked up several first-place finishes, with many coming from freshmen. The Wolves' next meet will be on Tuesday, March 10, at 2 p.m. against all league teams at Occidental College.

The equestrian team had members achieve top marks in the IEL/Gold Coast Horse Show last weekend. Two equestrians earned Champion titles in the IEL JV and IEL Varsity Jumper divisions.
