Step 1: Complete the inquiry form
By completing the inquiry form, you get on our mailing list to receive information about Flintridge Prep and the admissions process. You will also get access to onCampus, our admissions portal. (If you already have an account in onCampus, completing this inquiry form will allow our office to connect your child to your existing record.)
Step 2: Submit your application
Once you complete the inquiry form, you will receive an email from flintridgeprep.myschoolapp.com with instructions about accessing the admissions portal, including how to complete the application. You’ll need your account information and either the $100 application fee or fee waiver code (available from Flintridge Prep’s Admissions Office by emailing admissions@flintridgeprep.org).
Due January 8, 2025 although you are strongly encouraged to complete the application as soon as possible.
Step 3: Schedule your campus visit

- Complete a short writing reflection.
- Parents/guardians engage in small group conversations with the director of enrollment management and/or other school administrator to hear about Flintridge Prep and ask questions about our community.
Applicants • Grades 10-11 You will be contacted separately to set up your visit, which will include a campus tour and interview with a faculty member.
Step 4: Request recommendations and transcripts

current English teacher, and current math teacher.
Deadline: January 17, 2025
5: Take the Character Skills Snapshot
The Character Skills Snapshot is required for all applicants and is an online tool that measures student preferences towards seven skills: intellectual engagement, open-mindedness, initiative, resilience, self-control, social awareness, and teamwork. It takes about 25 minutes to complete and can be done in a comfortable environment of your choice. Results complement the other information in a student's application
You can register for the snapshot through Flintridge Prep’s online admissions portal once you submit the application. The fee is $60, which can be waived by contacting the Admissions Office.
Applicants must upload results in onCampus, as they are not sent to us automatically.
Deadline: January 17, 2025.
Step 6: Apply for Financial Aid
Financial aid application opens October 1.
Flintridge Prep awards financial aid based on a family’s calculated financial need in amounts ranging from 10% to 100% of tuition and school costs. There are no merit or talent-based awards. If the cost of a Flintridge Prep education feels out of reach based on your family’s financial circumstances, we believe applying for financial assistance is worth exploring. To learn more, visit our Financial Aid page for admissions families.
Deadline: January 8, 2025
Note on Standardized Testing:
Flintridge Prep is not reviewing standardized test results (e.g., ISEE or SSAT) as part of the application process for students interested in applying for the 2025-2026 school year.
