We're here to help!

The application process involves many steps, and we’re here to help. The best way to get in contact with us is to contact us by email at admissions@flintridgeprep.org or by phone at 818.949.5530.

Step 1: Complete the Inquiry Form

Complete Our Inquiry Form online so that we have your contact information

Thank you for your interest in Flintridge Prep! We are currently preparing the application for the 2024-2025 school year and will notify you when it’s available (late summer). If you have any questions, reach out to us at admissions@flintridgeprep.org or (818) 949-5530.

Step 2: Application

prep's online admissions application Is closed for the 2023-2024 school year

Flintridge Prep’s application deadline has passed, and we are no longer considering new applications for the 2023-2024 school year.

Step 3: Interview & Campus Visit

schedule your family's interview & campus visit

Flintridge Prep’s application deadline was January 9, 2023,  so interview and campus visits are only open to families who have already completed an application for the 2023-2024 school year. Families who have submitted an application can schedule the interview and campus visit in the admissions portal.

Campus interviews and visits for the 2024-2025 school year will begin in October and include a campus tour, conversation with Prep faculty and administrators, and time for the applicant to complete a short writing sample. Families will receive more information once they have submitted the application, which will reopen later this year.

Step 4: Recommendations & Transcripts

Request electronic copies of your RECOMMENDATION FORMS and TRANSCRIPTS.

You can do this through Prep’s Online Admissions Application Portal. Due by January 20, 2023.

Step 5: Character Skills Snapshot

take the character skills snapshot

The Character Skills Snapshot is an innovative online tool that measures student preferences towards seven essential character skills. The seven skills are intellectual engagement, open-mindedness, initiative, resilience, self-control, social awareness, and teamwork. It takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and applicants take the assessment at home, school, or other comfortable environment of their choice. Results complement the other information in an applicant’s file.

You can register for the snapshot through Prep’s Online Admissions Application Portal once you submit the application. The assessment fee is $60, which can be waived by contacting the Prep Admissions Office. The snapshot deadline for the 2023-2024 school year was January 20, 2023.

Step 6: Financial Assistance Application

apply for financial assistance

Flintridge Prep awards financial assistance based on a family’s calculated financial need in amounts ranging from 10% to 100% of tuition and school costs. There are no merit or talent-based awards. If the cost of a Prep education feels out of reach based on your family’s financial circumstances, we believe applying for financial assistance is worth exploring.  Access the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) application via their website. The financial assistance application deadline for the 2023-2024 school year was January 20, 2023.

NOTE ON STANDARDIZED TESTING:

Flintridge Prep is not reviewing standardized test results (e.g., ISEE or SSAT) as part of its 2023-2024 admissions process.
