Additional costs
Most expenses are included in Flintridge Prep's tuition (e.g., books, outdoor education, grade level activities). Flintridge Prep also has a Bring Your Own Device program and asks all students to bring a fully-charged laptop to campus each day.
Students who receive financial aid are awarded a percentage equal to their financial aid toward any additional costs essential to the Flintridge Prep experience, including their computer and Global Studies trips.
Payment plans
The school offers families three payment plans – one-time payment plan, two-time payment plan, and 10-time payment plan.

How to Apply for Financial Aid
Financial aid application opened October 1.
Flintridge Prep’s financial aid program is designed to make a Flintridge Prep education possible for all families. Awards are based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Information to determine the award is gathered through the online Clarity application. As part of the process, families provide information that includes income, assets, expenses, and debts.
How to Use the Clarity Application
- To get started, please go to Clarity and create an account.
- The application is mobile-friendly and typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
- You can save your progress at any time.
- The application fee is $60. Families can request a fee waiver by emailing us at finaid@flintridgeprep.org.
- Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity application to upload additional required tax documentation, including 2023 Federal 1040 forms, W-2s, 1099s, and business tax forms, if applicable.
- If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@claritytuition.com or (206) 210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is January 8, 2025 for admissions applicants and November 15, 2024 for current families.
This process takes place at the same time as, but is separate from, the application for admissions.
