Prep Students Learn What It's Like to Participate in a NASA Space Mission

Ten Prep students completed JPL Space Academy, a 10-week space entrepreneurial workshop that offered students the chance to experience what it’s like to work on a NASA space mission! The students designed, built, and tested a small “spacecraft” with a “launch system.” They learned how to code a rover that mimics the rovers on Mars. There is also an exchange portion to the program, where they share ideas, designs and results to foster international cooperation and understanding with a Spanish team in our Sister City Villanueva de La Cañada, near Madrid.
