Seniors experience art history firsthand at the Norton Simon Museum
Seniors from the art history classes visited the Norton Simon Museum and led tours discussing arts of Southeast Asia, the Renaissance, and the modern and contemporary periods. Having learned about many of the artists in the museum collection through textbook readings, the ability to see works up close brought new depth to their understanding.
