Spring Music Concert showcases Prep's talented student musicians
The Spring Music Concert was a lovely capstone to a semester of work for Prep’s singers and musicians as the concert’s theme, “Love Is in the Air,” carried through the night’s performances.
The Flintridge Singers and soloists covered songs from Handel to Adele. The orchestra class and community orchestra played classical concertos, “Lift Every Voice and Sing” by J. Rosamond Johnson, and even a selection from “Pirates of the Caribbean.” To close thenight, the orchestras combined for a moving rendition of Mozart’s 40th Symphony.
It was a beautiful night of music and a fitting send-off to the seniors who have poured their hearts into Prep’s performing arts during their years here.
