Weekly Sports Roundup: Football and Boys Water Polo Gain Victories

Last week’s football matchup between Prep and Milken proved to be quite a nail biter! Milken eked out a few scores in the 3rd and 4th quarters, but Prep walked away victorious with a final score of 29-14. Up next, the Wolves will take on Windward on Friday, October 22.  

Save the date for Homecoming on October 29! The Wolves will take on Chadwick and the evening will feature food from In-N-Out (cash only), performances from Spiritline, and the Homecoming Spirit Court ceremony.  

On October 15, the boys water polo team defeated Brentwood in another overtime finish, 7-6. Goalie Dylan Mealey ’22 had another terrific game with 13 saves, and the Wolves were led offensively by Diego Barraclough ’22 with three goals and were given the go-ahead overtime goal by Noah Corral ’23 who finished the game with two goals. The Wolves have a 12-8 overall record, 5-1 in league with two league games yet to be played. The next Prep League game against Chadwick is on Wednesday, October 20, at Flintridge Prep.
