2019 Flintridge Prep Benefit
Flintridge Flashback: A Pretty in Pink Prom – The Event of the Year!
On Saturday, March 2, 2019, the Flintridge Preparatory School Parents Association will host a most excellent evening, Flintridge Flashback: A Pretty in Pink Prom. All proceeds raised in connection with this benefit will fund the new three-story Collaboration Building on the north side of Prep’s campus. This 17,000+ square-foot building, the most ambitious project in the school’s history, will provide physical space for Prep’s re-envisioned STEAM, Global Studies and Leadership curriculum. The Collaboration Building will house classrooms, art and science labs, seminar and meeting rooms, and a makerspace to support these interdisciplinary initiatives. The building will also be outfitted with the latest technology, a terrace and other common spaces to support a collaborative learning experience. Every student will benefit from this exciting and transformative project.
Our stellar 80s-themed benefit will take place at the beautiful Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles. Think of the film Pretty in Pink with attendees outfitted in their cheesiest 80s prom attire or transformed into their favorite 80s icons. We’re sure the entire Rebel community will be stoked for this righteous event!
There will be three parts to our auction: Live, Silent and Prep Exclusive Events (fixed price seats to special events). This year, we are focusing specifically on experiences that will excite, engage and showcase the talents and interests of the Flintridge Prep community. We hope you will consider donating an item to the auction. Here are some thought starters:
- Host a cultural dinner party that showcases your family’s heritage
- Provide a 1-day deep dive internship where kids or adults can discover the business of medicine, engineering, game design, trial law, etc.
- Provide access to a vacation home
- Host a kids’ event like a pre-prom dinner, tailgating party or fishing trip
- Coordinate a behind-the-scenes experience with a celebrity
- Additionally, we are looking for items such as fine wines and spirits, concert or game tickets, walk-on parts and jewelry that can be a part of the online auction available to all
To pledge an item, please click the blue button above and we will follow up with you. If you have any questions or need assistance pledging an item for the auction, please email us at email@example.com.

Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you on March 2!
