Club Life

Club life at Prep is a powerful vehicle for student agency and provides countless opportunities to express what’s important to you.

Flintridge Prep values a balanced approach to learning and celebrates students with diverse interests. We have dozens of clubs and activities for you to join. From Mock Trial and Speech and Debate, to Robotics and Girls Who Code, to Cultural Education Club and Activism in the Arts—we promise you’ll find the club for you.

You don’t have to take a class to be a member of our yearbook (the Log), newspaper (The Flintridge Press), or literary magazine (Folio) staff—just make your interest known in advance and know that there is a time commitment. These opportunities to tell Prep’s story are completely student-run with guidance from a faculty advisor.

Prep students also support multiple nonprofit organizations and social causes through the Student Community Action Council (SCAC). If you’re looking for a club that doesn’t exist, don’t worry—you can create a club on your own. All you need is a faculty advisor and then you’ll present your club charter at our Club Rush and Community Impact Fair.

Most of our theatrical, musical, and dance productions offer open auditions, and organizations like ComedySportz provide unique opportunities to be on stage. Our Visual Art studios have an open-door policy so that students who are not enrolled in a course can stop in, chat with a teacher, and work on a project on their own time.
